Review: Playing with Fire by Margaret Madigan

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Angela Reeves and Vladic Golakov. Angela works for a newspaper down in New Orleans and is looking to cover a story about missing women. So far the only thing she can really tie to the missing women is a band called Cry Wolf. She is determined to get into that concert and see what she can figure out about the band and what they know about he missing women. Little did she know that her brother and Gerri were going to decided that she needed a bodyguard for this event. Can she get away from the one man meant to save her and if she does what will really happen to her?

Vladic is part of a paranormal security firm that works on a number of cases but the big one they are all working on is finding a ring made by witches. Since this firm is made up of all dragons this ring is meant to hurt or kill them all. Their objective is to find it and destroy it but sometimes life gets in the way. So when Vladic is sent on a protection detail from both his boss and Gerri he thinks it is weird that he was specifically chosen but since he doesn't know what to make of it he takes it all in stride. What happens when the woman he is meant to protect is his mate and he loses her. Can he get her back and if he does can he keep her this time or will her missing time be the end of them both?

This is a great story about finding strength not only in yourself but also being willing to lean on others when it is necessary. This book does have quite a few twists and turns that I want to tell you all about. But as a reader I hate spoilers so I will never do that to any other reader. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
