I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Liliana Lopez & Damien Dovlatov. When Liliana was just 13 years old she was marked with a red x to show that her father was a traitor to the cartel. Though she had done nothing wrong she and 6 other kids were marked this way to show their parents were traitors during the cartel/bratva war. Damien knows what was done to these kids is wrong but at the time he did it for the greater good of not having more lives lost, or at least that is what he tells himself to feel better. When he sees Liliana again though he knows he has found his woman. Can they have a HEA or will the fact that they are on different sides make that impossible?
Another hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
