I received this short story with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Scarlett and Noah Miller. When this book opens it with both Scarlett and Noah riding in the float together for the Winter Stampede Parade. Scarlett has a new rule no men, no distractions. She is one semester away from getting her masters degree and won't let anything stand in her way. Believing that and putting it into practice are two different things for her though. There is just something about Noah that makes her want to get closer to him not farther away. Noah knows he is no good for anyone but his cows. Heck he still has a house that looks like it is falling apart. When he lays eyes on Scarlett though he wants to be a better man for her. He knows it would be better to keep her away from the demons that plague him. He wonders though if that is even possible. Will these two find HEA the really want or will they let the past keep them apart from that beautiful future?
This is another amazing story in this series. This book can be read as a stand alone. It does have its ups and downs I really want to to tell you about. However with it being a short story I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word and not wanting to let go when you read those two words "the end". I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
