Review of Kynan: Regiville Tales Book Two by Desirae Grove

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Kynan and Elysa. Kynan and Elysa use to date but Elysa feels like because she is human that she is to weak to be with him. She knows she loves him but if he can't see her as something more than a person to protect they can't be together. So after coming to the camp-out with a guy friend of hers to make Kynan jealous, well this works for a moment then they get into another fight. That night she is awakened by what she thinks is Kynan calling to her. However it is Agatha that you met as the villain in the first book is back to torture another couple. Elysa ends up compounding her problems when she makes 2 wishes with a genie. The problem with making wishes with a genie is they twist your wishes into something bad.

Kynan has more feelings for Elysa than he is willing to admit. The problem is he was raised by a single mother who always warned him away from humans. Telling him they aren't strong enough to stay with their kind as well as the woman would not be strong enough to carry their young. However little did he know that by pushing Elysa away for her own good (in his mind) would have her making some possible life altering choices. When he finds out about the wishes he is determined to do anything to set her free before the possible curses kill her. The thing he finds out is sometimes what you might believe to be true might not really be.

This was actually a really good book it can be read as a stand alone but would recommend that you read the first book so many of the references make sense. This is a great book to show us that love really can make a difference if you let it. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
