Review of The Alpha's Curse by Scarlett Grove

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we Avery, and Lucien. When this book opens up Avery has gotten an inheritance from her grandmother and has purchased the farm she has always wanted. When she goes into town to get supplies she is told that the land she has purchased is haunted. Though she doesn't believe this she does know that she keeps seeing the most beautiful blue eyes on a wolf and can't explain why. On night on a full moon she goes out to the pond on her property for a swim. The same attraction she felt for the wolf she feels for the man who is now at the pond. What she wonders is, is this a dream or has she found the man who is meant to be her forever?

Lucien is there one moment and gone the next. He doesn't give any explanations of why he isn't there for more than 1 night per month. He is determined to prove to his love that he will always be there though. Lucien wants to explain everything but he knows now is not the time. Can he keep his love or will she run from him when she finds out the truth?

This is a great short story. That spans quite a bit of time. The author does a great job of showing time passing without getting hung up on filler pages that are really unnecessary to the over all story line. This does have an amazing twist in that I would love to tell you about but don't want to ruin the surprise. I will say this is an amazing book and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
