Review of Geek Bear by Scarlett Grove

I have read the rest of this series this book can be read as a stand alone though.

In this book we get Corey's story and are introduced to Willow Rhine. Willow is a romance ghost writer who has a lot going on right now. She for one isn't sure she still wants to be a ghost writer she is thinking of going out and writing under her own name. But there is a part of her that is scared to do this because she isn't sure she can make a living at it or will be except. Another problem she is having is she has a stalker that she is getting no help with. So when she gets a message from mate.com she thinks this is the perfect time to get out of town. She remembers signing up for mate.com when she was researching a book but she never thought anything would come of it. What happens though when your mate doesn't want you?It shows

Cory doesn't want a mate and he is very vocal about this so when the bears on his crew sign him up for mate.com he is pissed. He is even more pissed when they get Willow to come to fate mountain to supposedly meet up with him. Cory knows she is his mate from the first look but he just can't be with her. He doesn't want to hurt her but his past makes being with a mate harder than it should be. Cory doesn't know what to do because now that his bear has found it's mate it will never give him peace. Can he find a way to separate himself from her without hurting her?

This is an amazing story about finding someone you are meant to be with but letting your past dictate your future. Both of these characters are fighting something in their life that stops them from having a future together. This books shows us to never give up on ultimate happiness because you will miss so much if you do. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
