Review of Whiskey Kisses by Anna Martin

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet James "Jim" O'Shaughnessys and Aiden Rooney. Jim is a man who lives in a small Irish town after college he comes back to his small town to work in the local whiskey shop as their accountant. He know that he will not get everything he wants living in a small town but he likes being close to his family. The only thing he wishes for a man of his own. No matter how much he might want it he wonders if it will ever happen?

Aiden is a mystery that blows into town but the instant he lays eyes on Jim he knows he wants to get to know him better. He is an artist and as such he sees beyond Jim's scars and his dis-figuration he sees the man inside. The thing is though he wonders can he and this man ever really be together will Jim not being willing to come out?

This is a short story about deciding what matters most to you and going for it. There are a couple of twists in the story that I want to tell you about but don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I will say I would recommend this book.
