Review of The Greatest Show (Brothers of Rock book 5) by Karolyn James

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book can be read as a stand alone but would advise you read the entire series to understand all the references.

In this book we get Brantley's story and we are introduced to Emma. Emma is a girl who one night goes to the Brothers of Rock concert and finds herself ditching her date and going off with the drummer Brantley. The think is the instant they are around one another there is this instant connection that neither can deny but when that instant connection leads to a child both have to decide what the correct path will be. Emma feels that it would be best to be a single parent so that Brantley doesn't resent her for stopping his dreams of being a big time rock star. Brantley is worried that he would never measure up as a father so he is more than willing to let Emma do it all. However when Emma calls to let him know there is something wrong with their son he knows he needs to step up. The thing is the instant he meets his kid he knows he can't let go not matter what.

This is an amazing book that shows both points of view on the stance of how each feels when one crazy night results in a child. It is true that everyone must make their own paths in life but how do you know if you have chosen the correct one? In this book we see how some of those type of choices can have consequences that will have both parties feeling overwhelming guilt and shame in some of the decisions that they make. I want to tell you so much about this book but as a reader I think everyone should have the chance to experience it for themselves. I will say this is an amazing book that I would highly recommend.
