Review of Grit by J.C. Valentine

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Gabby Morgan and Blake "Quick" Mahone. Gabby is a kindergarten teacher on her first day of school she finds all but one of her students in her classroom on time. The missing child none other than Ash Mahone. So when not only is he late for school but his father Blake is late coming to get him. She is a little hot and bother but one look at Blake and now she is hot an bothered for a totally different reason. Gabby has been with a biker in her past and it ended up being a bad experience so when she starts to have feelings for Blake she knows she has to approach this with caution because she isn't sure what will happen if this ends badly too. Can she trust him or will his little boy make her wonder if trust is the most important thing?

Blake Mahone has been judged for most of his life. Being a part of the MC meant it came with most people looked at him with a lot of assumptions about who he is as a man and as a biker. The instant he lays eyes on Ash's new teacher he believes she is judging him too. Ash however is making it very difficult for him to stay away from her though. Blake doesn't trust many women after what Ash's mom Jodi did to him. However there is something about this woman that has him wanting to know more about her, hold her close and promise her everything if she will be with even just for a night. What happens though when a night isn't enough is he ready to change everything for this one woman?

This is another amazing story by this author. She is letting us into her new MC world, that shows us true evil, a woman who got more than she bargained for in her last relationship, and a MC Prez who has to put everyone's needs forefront. What happens though when the woman and the Prez find something real? Will they fight for it or fold under the pressure they are under? This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This author promises more from this MC so what we are getting is the first couple. Who knows where the rest of the crew will take the story next, but I promise this author will deliver power full stories ever time. There is so much I want to tell you that happens in this book but I don't want to ruin any of the surprises you will find in this book. I will say I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It will suck you and and the rest of you world will be lost till you read the very last words. Make sure you get your copy of this amazing book.
