I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Skye Banner and Xander Stone. Xander is sent to get close to Skye so that he can find out where her brother has hidden the money he borrowed from a mobster. There are a few problems with this though 1) the mobster has no concept of time and 2) he is highly attracted to Skye and wants her to be his. Not just for the duration of the job but for keeps. What happens though when Skye finds out why he really met her? Will she stay or will he loose a prize that is worth everything?
Skye has been putting her own needs on the back burner for so long it has become second nature to her. So when this attractive guys saves her one morning she thinks it is because of the guys not her. When she sees him again at the diner she thinks that he must be there for one of the skinnier cuter girls. What happens though when she realizes she has all his attention? Will she go for it or will she again put her own needs on hold for someone else?
This is a great story about finding that someone special and doing everything you can to keep them. There are many twists and turns in this story that I want to tell you all about. I however don't want to ruin it for any other reader. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
