I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Stephanie Plume and Max Johnson. In this book we learn that Stephanie is from Fate Mountain and has been on mate.com for 5 years hoping to find her mate. This year she just can't be with all the happy mated couples for Christmas and decides it is time to have an adventure of her own. So she set sail on a cruise ship that will take her through the Caribbean. At this same time Max has just joined Justice Squad from his time in the military. His time undercover gave him a very specific skill-set that the justice squad need right now. There are pirate attacking boats and stealing both passengers and goods. He thought he would join the cruise in the Bahamas and be able to get intel on the crew or kill the leader. Little did he know they would attack a boat of this size. Max believes he is to broken for a mate. Can these two find the mate they have been searching for all their lives or will the mission be more than they can get past?
This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other reader. I will say this action packed book will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
