Review of Bait by Madison Faye

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Anastasia Penworth and Oliver Bard. Anastasia is just minutes away from her 18th birthday and she knows exactly how she wants to spend it. See Anastasia attends a exclusive prep-school and Oliver is a professor there. He has a thing though if you get out of line you are put in his midnight detention. Since he has seniors in his class this is not a problem since they are allowed out later than other students from the dorm. Anastasia is taking full advantage of this and made sure that she ended up her on this exact night. Oliver knows this is a bad idea he could get fired, this could become part of his permanent record but there is something about Anastasia that has grabbed him from the first day. He knows what day it is about to become and knows that he is ready for it as much as Anastasia is. Is this the HEA that neither of them was looking for or will it be an adventure that they can have for later in life?

This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this is a book you won't be able to put down once you start and you sure don't want it to end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. The author does warn this is a book about a girl who has just turned 18 and her much older professor. If this a problem for you please be aware.
