I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Pepper Calhoun & Bast Durand. When this book opens we find that Bast has been injured while fighting with his brother. This might end his hockey career but he is sure he will be able to make it back to the Hawks. When he is eventually traded to the Rebels he still isn't sure if this trade is a good thing or a bad one. The worst of it is the one woman he can't seem to forget is the coach's daughter. Pepper is done with hockey players especially after all she went through with her ex. To top it all off her dad is a hockey coach and her brother plays for a team and both of them keep encouraging her to go back to him. So she had no trust in being with another player. Can they find a HEA or will they be over before they even begin?
New to reading this author, but would definitely look for it again. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
