I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Destiny Grainger and Viktor Kaverina. When this book opens we find Viktor just getting out of jail. He was in jail for something he did for Stanislav Pavelenko. He wants to be part of the Bratva and work for people who have loyalty. The thing is when he gets there he sees furniture being loaded into the house but not the man he wants to meet with. He does see something or rather someone that will help him in his goals for his future. A man has come to kill Max's wife and child he dispatches of this man and in-turn prove where his loyalty lies. Destiny has come to St. Petersburg to watch Max and Elizableth's (we meet them in British Bratva) son Alexei Toropov. Destiny owned her own business in Miami and use to watch Alexei before the family moved away. She likes to tell herself she doesn't know what the Russians were doing in Miami at the same time she knows she is just fooling herself. One look at the man who is there to protect her and Alexei is all it takes for her to want more. Viktor never saw himself with more but one look at Destiny and he wants it all. Will these two get a shot at more of will Viktor's past and the people they are working for future plans make that impossible?
This is another amazing story by this author. This book does refer to other characters in previous stories. It can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading them in order to avoid any spoilers revealed. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will tell you this will take you on a ride you won't want to get off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
