I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Kathleen Pierce and Beckett "Scooter" Archer. When this book opens we find that Scooter has brought his friend and teammate to the doctor. While there he sees Kathleen and her son trying to pay. After realizing what kind of trouble she is in he steps in to help the one woman he knows he shouldn't want. Kathleen can't believe she is seeing the one man she wishes was hers when she is at her lowest. However she didn't realize there was farther to fall. When Scooter offers her and her homeless son a place to not only stay but work at too she jumps at the chance. Can these two find a HEA or will her ex make sure that never happens?
Wowza what a story. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
