Review of Filthy Ever After by Madison Faye

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

Every heard of Cinderella? Well this is kinda her story with a dominant king instead of a prince and a woman who knows who she wants just doesn't think she deserves him. In this book we meet King Rian and Emilia. Emilia is a woman who had it all and lost it all. Her mother died of cancer when she was little. Her father remarried and they slightly after that developed and succumbed to cancer himself. So she is a girl alone in the world. Well maybe alone is the wrong way to say it she has her evil stepmother and witchy step-sisters. However when she hears of the ball that the King is throwing she goes little did she know what would happen when she got there. Rian is tired of the same women hitting on him he is looking for that something more. Being king means you can have any woman but he is looking for a special woman. Little did he know by hosting this ball he doesn't want he would finally meet his one. Can they have a HEA or will outside forces make that impossible?

This book is amazing. It is but isn't like the fairly-tale. It is so much better and so much hotter. This is one of those books that you will lock the door, order out for food, send the kids away just because you can't put it down once you start. There are so many ups and downs I want to tell you about in this book. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this is a much this is a must own book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
