I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Mercy Daniels and Abram "Abe" Cross. After a disaster last year Mercy isn't looking for a new man in any way. What she is looking for is to reconnect with her friend Sasha (you met her in Chase). However with what has been happening in the club Sasha lets her know she understands if she doesn't want to hang out. Mercy is looking for a little fun not a commitment and thinks being with Sasha can give her just that. Abe steers clear of women who want more than one night from him. He is ok with the hookups but always says no to commitment. He has to many demons from his past for that. So when he meets Mercy he thinks this could be the fun he is looking for. Can these tow find common ground and work together or will the things in their past make sure that will never happen?
This is an amazing book. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This is the second book in this series and they should be read in order just to understand all that is going on. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
